Privacy Policy

Musikao turns your audio into videos. This page explains what we keep about you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to support@musikao.com.

Who is responsible

Musikao is the controller of your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact: support@musikao.com.

What we keep

• Account: your name and email. There are no passwords: you sign in with a one-time code we email you, or with Google. Codes expire after 15 minutes and work once.
• Google sign-in: your name, email and profile picture from Google, plus the tokens it issues, so the sign-in keeps working.
• Your files: the audio and images you upload and the videos we render from them.
• Render history: the settings of each export (visualizer, colors, clip times, resolution), its status and any error message.

We don't run analytics or advertising trackers, we don't sell your data, and we don't send you marketing email. The only email we send is your sign-in code.

Why, and on what legal basis

• To provide the service you signed up for: your account, uploads, renders and history (GDPR art. 6(1)(b), contract).
• To keep the service secure and working, for example by limiting abuse (art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest).

Who else handles it

• Hetzner Online GmbH hosts our servers, database and file storage in the European Union.
• Resend delivers our sign-in code emails.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with it.

We don't take payments yet. When we do, the payment provider will be listed here before anything is charged.

Who can see your videos

Your uploads and rendered videos are private. Only you can open them, signed in, and every download link we hand out expires after a few minutes.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, files and render history for as long as your account exists. Email support@musikao.com and we'll delete your account and everything in it within 30 days.

Cookies

We only use cookies the service needs to work, so we don't ask for consent:

• authjs.session-token keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
• authjs.csrf-token and authjs.callback-url protect and complete sign-in.
• musikao-remember-hint carries your “Remember me” choice through Google sign-in, for 5 minutes.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email support@musikao.com and we'll reply within one month. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

Age

You must be at least 14 to create an account.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. For changes that matter, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect.
